Roots of Purpose is a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing poverty and homelessness in Louisville, Kentucky. Our mission is not only to provide resources to people that are currently unhoused, but also to provide services that are going to help alleviate the pressure of poverty and make growth easier. We believe that everyone deserves a chance to reform their lives, revive their purpose, and rectify their mistakes and we work tirelessly to make that a possibility. Our Projects
At Roots of Purpose, we have several ongoing projects to support our mission of reducing homelessness through a holistic approach. Our projects include renovating abandoned buildings to create temporary housing units, offering job training and support, collecting professional clothing to distribute for interviews and offering harm reduction services. Louisville, we are throwing a HUGE community celebration and we want YOU there! This is our biggest event yet as we work to open the new Roots of Purpose Community Center — a space built for the community and by the community.
